I wouldn’t describe my mother as a devout religious person when I was
growing up, but she held on to her faith and attended church on
occasion. However, she began to attend church regularly when my father
died.
She went to church to find comfort from her faith and the people
who go there. Purchasing presents for my mother used to be difficult,
but that has changed due to her renewed faith. Now all she wants to get
are Bible books.
It’s not difficult to find Bible books. In fact, you can find all types of Bibles in places where you would usually buy books. Bible books come in all different languages and different versions. Some Christian denominations have a particular type of Bible.
If you belong to one, you should get the same type of Bible that your church use. Some people like one type of Bible book more than they like the others.

There are also great Bible books that are made for those with bad eyesight. It’s possible to get ones that have a larger print so you don’t have to squint in order to see the pictures and read the words.
You can also buy story Bible books from nearby bookstores. I had a few of these when I was child. These books tell many of the most popular and enduring Bible stories, and contained colorful illustrations. Children can easily understand what is going on, and the lessons within the story are spelled out for them.
These are ideal as gifts and can be found where you buy other Bible books. You can look on the Internet if you can’t find the Bible books you need in your local stores. They are available on large named sites like Barnes and Noble.
